“S.A.S. - Investigazioni” in addition to the services described, also provides the
possibility to organize and to carry out a wide selection of specialization courses and seminars for
Law Enforcement Agencies, the Military, Government Agencies and for Organizations concerned
with private security at both a national and international level.
These courses can be organized in Italy or abroad, in collaboration with specialists of each sector
that come from special units and from Italian or foreign security services in addition to the collaboration
of university professors from the faculties of law and criminology.
In addition to the theoretical and training courses that are listed below, “S.A.S. -
Investigazioni” can also create personalized courses for individual needs and purposes and/or
for teams.
“S.A.S. Investigazioni reserves the right to evaluate, according to company ethics and current
national and international laws, any requests for courses that are received by private personnel that
do not work in the security field.
UNARMED COMBAT
The length of this course depends on the level that is requested by the participant. The course is taught by highly qualified Italian and/or foreign instructors that come from special units and security services. Hand-to-hand combat techniques, using only hands and feet will be taught. Participants will be brought to the limits of their potential in order to ensure that they will be able to confront any type of threat whether that may be an armed or unarmed threat.
ARRESTING TECHNIQUES
The length of the course is five days. This course is for people and/or government organizations or non, who in order to carry out their role are required to learn the best possible arresting techniques that allow them to face any situation with a minimal risk.
INTERVENTION TECHNIQUES FOR EVENTS
The length of this course depends on the level that is requested by the participant. The course is divided into two parts: The first part concerns the theoretical/tactical issues, that is, threat evaluation, schemes to adopt and how to employ them. The second part of the course deals with learning how to use a truncheon and hand-to-hand combat techniques in order to face any threat with only a minimal risk. Only people that are part of national or international Law Enforcement Agencies, the Military and security agencies will be admitted to the course.
ARMED COMBAT
The length of this course depends on the level that is requested by the participant. The highly qualified Italian and/or foreign instructors that come from special units and security services will teach how to use each type of weapon with maximum safety. The course is divided in two parts: The first part concerns theoretical/tactical issues, information concerning each part of the weapon, safety use, how to approach the target, how to use the weapon, how to draw and point the weapon, reaction test. The second part is the practice phase, using the weapon on single or multiple targets with rapid fire while standing and/or on the ground, situation simulation. Note. The above armed combat course is the basic course. Advanced courses are only for those that are part of national and/or international Law Enforcement Agencies the Military and/or Government agencies. Any requests from private security agencies will be evaluated case per case according to national/international laws in force.
SUICIDE TERRORISM
The length of this course depends on the level that is requested by the participant. The highly qualified Italian and/or foreign instructors that come from special units and security services will teach the techniques needed to prevent and neutralize the threat of a possible suicide attack, in any type of territorial area. Note. For security reasons and company ethics, information regarding the course will be exclusively described only to those directly involved.
OPERATIVE GUIDE
The length of this course depends on the level that is requested by the participant. The expert instructors are professional drivers that will teach the theoretical/practical techniques required in addition to all the secrets that will enable you to drive any type of vehicle to the limit with maximum safety.
BODY LANGUAGE APPLIED TO SECURITY
The length of this course depends on the level that is requested by the participant. This course is based on learning how to analyze the behaviour of each single person in order to understand if that person is a possible threat for the safety of others.
RISK ANALYSIS
This course is based on understanding and analyzing every possible threat that is a tangible and non-tangible target. A threat can derive from a general criminal act and/or from a possible terrorist act. Participants will be taught safety procedures that are necessary to ensure the security of facilities and public safety, therefore reducing the risk factor to a minimum. The course is divided into two parts: The first part includes a “theoretical” explanation of how to analyze different types of situations. The second part is “practical” during which participants will be asked to explain the risk analysis of a simulated situation.
AIRPORT SECURITY
This course is for security personnel that work both internally and externally in an airport terminal, therefore Law Enforcement Agencies, the Military, private security agencies. This course teaches participants how to deal with any possible threat that could arise internally and/or externally of an airport terminal, by teaching fundamental notions of how to react while providing maximum safety both for oneself and for others that are present.
SKY MARSHAL
This course prepares participants on how to work within an aircraft and how to always be able to neutralize any type of threat. Participants will learn the various methods used to intervene within an aircraft, hand-to hand combat in a narrow area like the fuselage of an aircraft, using a weapon aboard if needed, and how to intervene without causing any risks for the safety of others.
PERSONAL PROTECTION “VIP PROTECTION”
The length of this course depends on the level that is requested by the participant. The course is divided into three parts: The first “theoretical” part teaches close/far range protection of a VIP, modus operandi, how to get in and out and how to use a vehicle in addition to possible getaway techniques. The second “practical” part deals with hand-to-hand combat, disarmament techniques and how to neutralize a possible threat, armed combat techniques, getaway techniques, etc…The third part “simulates” a protective escort service while instructors simulate possible attack situations.
INTELLIGENCE IN THE DECISIONAL PROCESS
The length of this course depends on the level that is requested by the participant. This course teaches a participant how to make the best possible evaluation of a situation based on the information he/she possesses in order to make an intuitive and functional decision in the least possible time, while reducing the risk of making an incorrect decision.
BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE
The length of this course depends on the level that is requested by the participant. The participant will learn all the techniques that are used to avoid that any information, patents, software or other information be discovered. These techniques will also be simulated during the course.
SHIP AND PORT SECURITY
The length of this course depends on the level that is requested by the participant. This course is divided into two parts, a theoretical and a practice part: The theoretical part will examine a port and the surrounding areas in addition to the layout of a ship, possible threats and the most appropriate type of technical-operative procedures to adopt in order to prevent or to confront a criminal act if necessary. The second “practice” part will train personnel on how to confront all dangerous situations that may occur within the areas that are under surveillance. These participants will also be taught combat notions in naval areas, both hand-to-hand and firearm combat, in order to be able to handle any type of attack.
ANTITERRORISM
This course is organized both in Italy and abroad, depending on the type of preparation level that is requested. This course is only for professionals of the field, such as national or international Law Enforcement Agencies, the Military, Government Organizations and/or employees of agencies that work in this field. During this course theoretical and practical notions will be taught that deal with preventing and neutralizing any type of terrorist threat. All the highly qualified instructors, which come from special security units, will bring participants to the limit of their potential in order to prepare them at best for any type of service. Note.
